So why do I have three very VERY different photos of couples on the top of this page? Because I believe that every couple is different and their photos should be too! I get to know my clients and with each one I chat with, I get a vibe from them... something that just tells me what works for them. The couple on the left, Lizabeth and Tim, will stare at you like this and say something so funny it'll make you want to pee your pants... so when I suggested a spin on American Gothic they were all over it! The couple in the middle, Kelli and Todd, are just giddy and fun - I had them stand against this wall outside their church and we were joking around and they both busted out laughing. CLICK. Perfect. The couple on the right, Hope and Brian, were definitely hot and heavy! I didn't hurt that they also had to keep each other warm since it was just a few days before Christmas in the chilly Northeast! ;)

My style is a modern mix... a little lifestyle, a little directed... a lot of personality! I want you to be relaxed and comfortable so that you can just be yourself! I like to get to know my clients so that they feel comfortable enough to show their true personalities - that's my goal - capturing the real you. I don't want to just show what you look like, I want to show who you are. This is why an engagement session is included with my wedding coverage - so that we can get to know one another before your big day! While my style is mainly photojournalistic, I do take time for portraits because I believe they are important to preserving your family history and will be passed down for generations. I typically work with families and bridal party first and then we can relax and have some fun photographing just the two of you for a bit! This is the only time of day that I will be asking you to look at me or be directing things - it's not my wedding, it's yours and I want you to enjoy your day!
