My very first photography assignment in elementary school was to photograph textures and it has always stuck with me. It has been a small obsession of mine for decades. Even if you are a purist and don't believe in putting textures on photos, you can see that they do make great backgrounds and overlays for things like websites, albums and cards. Approximately 6 of my textures are in use on this page alone! I'm constantly adding to my collection and have chosen select textures to make available to other photographers (and designers too!).
