My very first photography assignment in elementary school was to photograph textures and it has always stuck with me. It has been a small obsession of mine for decades. Even if you are a purist and don't believe in putting textures on photos, you can see that they do make great backgrounds and overlays for things like websites, albums and cards. Several of my textures are in use on this page alone! I'm constantly adding to my collection and have chosen select textures to make available to other photographers (and designers too!).
