It’s FINALLY ready! I have worked on designing a new website for a couple of months now and it’s finally at the point where I am ready to show it off! It’s new, it’s colorful, it’s fun and it’s totally ME! Thanks to the awesome Showit Sites software, I built this baby from scratch! More tweaks to come when I have some time but check it out! =)

Jessica and Barry were married at Castle on the Hudson, also known as “The Castle” in Tarrytown, NY on July 5th which turned out to be such a gorgeous day! Despite a few stressful mishaps early in the day and some unexpected entertainment (think America’s Got Talent!), everything was beautiful and everyone had a great time filled with Jewish traditions, lots of dancing and even singing. Besides, the most important thing went off without a hitch - Jessica & Barry got married! =) During the reception The Rythym Shop kept the party going strong until the very end and they also got everyone into the act! It was a lot of fun watching Jessica and Barry join in on the mic singing Journey and Bon Jovi, banging on bongos and watching Jessica and a few of her girls play back up singers to “Tina” during Proud Mary.

Once Jessica took her veil off she felt so much better and while her bridesmaids bustled her up Barry went into the reception and grabbed their place card to show her - they were so incredibly excited to see Mr. and Mrs. Postrygacz in writing!

I’m just about to unveil an awesome new website, totally designed by yours truly! =) I’m super impatient and I’ve been working on this for SO LONG so I thought I’d go ahead and change the blog while I’m doing my last minute tweaks to the site. A huge thanks to Brian for my sweet new logo and being patient with me while I decided - I LOVE it!
Last weekend I made the trek back to CT to photograph Jess & Mark’s engagement session at Sleeping Giant State Park and Quinnipiac University, where they met, in Hamden. Jess & Mark are very playful, silly and cute and we had a great time! I love how they play fight, pretending they’re kung fu masters or something! We had fun walking around Quinnipiac while they took me to their favorite spots, including some really sentimental ones from when they first started dating.
We started out at Sleeping Giant - just off the parking lot - they wanted to concentrate more on Quinnipiac but I was dying to get a few here first.
This elderly couple was walking through and I caught them with Jess & Mark in the background at the last second - wish I had gotten a better shot but I thought it was cute nonetheless.

I photographed Vanessa & Rob’s wedding May 12th, 2007 and I’ve been anxiously waiting for the day that they would welcome their first child. Well, it finally happened and I couldn’t be more excited for them! They are going to be the absolute best parents! Congratulations you two - I can’t wait to meet her! XOXO
