Ahh… back to the real world… and I need a vacation from my vacation! We had a great time visiting my family and friends in Florida and just relaxing. My Mom and Step Dad treated us to Sea World and Jaedyn had a blast! Even though I was born and raised in FL, I had never been there so it was a cool experience for me too! Jaedyn also tried bowling twice while we were in FL and the second time we went she actually tied me! Of course, it was probably the worst game I had played since I was her age, how embarrassing (we both scored a 73 - OUCH!)! Here are some pics taken with our little G7:

While there we also went to a 16th birthday party, I did a photo shoot for the birthday girl, we took my dad to Fort Desoto and basically just hung out with friends and my parents and went swimming. I’ll be posting some of the shots I took with my REAL camera in the next few days!

I saw a fun post on my friend Nikki’s blog where she made herself into an M&M and had to give it a try myself! Of course, having recently gotten back from Florida, the place that will always be home in my heart, I had to put myself on the beach! Man I miss palm trees! The butterfly is for Jaedyn and the hot air balloon is just because I think they’re awesome and love seeing them floating through the sky, so carefree. I hope everyone is having a Happy Easter! Jaedyn is so into Easter this year and it’s so exciting! We decorated Easter Eggs last night and had a blast! We tried out Martha Stewart’s silk tie eggs, but apparently I didn’t tie the ties tight enough around the eggs because they came out a little messy.

Tomorrow morning (Monday) we’re off to Florida to visit my family in my hometown of New Port Richey (just North of Tampa). We’ll be gone through April 17th, but I will be checking my e-mail and phone messages periodically. Have a great week!

I finally bought my very first point and shoot digital camera! We got a Canon G7 (keepin’ it in the Canon family!) and this camera ROCKS! It puts out awesome quality, doesn’t have the annoying 10 second delay and even has full manual capabilities! I can’t tell you how great it is to have a small camera to carry around with me everywhere. I love my other cameras, but they are a little bulky and awkward to take with me every place I go! Now I don’t get funny looks from the other Moms at the park when I pull out my camera!

So, what do you do when you get a new toy? Play with it, of course! I’m still learning how to do everything on this camera as I have never had a point and shoot before. Here are some recent photos from this awesome little camera:
