Meghan & Chris
Tuesday, November 21st, 2006Meghan and Chris were married November 10, 2006 and I had no idea what I was in for… I had only met Meghan and Chris once before as they live in Philly… I did not expect that when I arrived at Meghan’s parents’ home that I would end up so emotionally involved with this wonderful family. I have been doing weddings for quite some time now and all of the emotions associated with the day don’t normally “get to me”… this wedding did. I found myself wiping tears away from my eyes a couple of times which does not typically happen anymore. Meghan’s Mom is fighting cancer and was given a very warm round of applause as she was walked down the aisle at Sacred Heart Church in Georgetown. I then found the tears rolling down my cheeks as I struggled to see through my camera with flooded eyes. The love and support in that room was unbelievable. She was absolutely radiant and living life to the fullest.
Meghan was stunning in her totally awesome dress with a bouquet just as awesome - she really paid attention to the little details! Chris looked like he was going to fall over when Meghan appeared at the aisle. After the ceremony we headed up to the reception at The Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield (which just happens to be where I got married just over 4 years ago) for a very fun reception and lots of dancing with inflatible guitars, hard hats and maracas!
Onto the good stuff:
