Engagement Session

I had the pleasure of not only photographing Kelly & Marc’s engagement session, but getting my own personal tour of New Haven! We started out at East Rock Park’s Summit and then went downtown and walked all around. Of course we had to get some shots in front of Kelly’s favorite building - The New Haven Public Library!

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this adorable family at Fairfield’s Jennings Beach. They were so natural in front of the camera which is hard to come by - though the older girl was quite shy, hopefully next time I photograph them she will open up more. By the end of the shoot I was soaking wet and sandy from the waist down… and I didn’t bring a towel or a change of clothes! I couldn’t resist - I HAD to get into the water to get the shots that I saw naturally occurring, so I did it! I laughed at myself the whole way home… and mostly when I stopped at a tag sale in my wet and sandy garb!

This is my first entry, but I hope to get this thing up and running shortly. This is the place for clients and friends to check out my latest work, personal photos and find out what’s new.

My website is in the middle of an overhaul right now, but I’m hoping to get it back to normal status soon. Business is booming which is always a good thing, but that also means less time to do stuff like web updates. My web address will be changing in a couple of months, so I will be sure to keep everyone posted on that. I was very disappointed to not find a domain name I really liked available when I got my site, but that will be remedied soon. That’s the price you pay when you have a name that’s in the dictionary, I guess!
